  •  Gentamicin Sulphate
    U.S.P.: Each gram of ointment contains Gentamicin Sulphate equivalent to its
    active form

 Indications:

 Provate-G Ointment is primarily indicated for the relief of
inflammatory manifestations associated with resistant or severe psoriasis and
other corticoid responsive dermatoses. It is especially useful when these
conditions are complicated by secondary infections caused by microorganisms
susceptible to Gentamicin

    such as vaccinia, varicella, and herpes simplex

 Precautions:

  •  Discontinue treatment
    if irritation or sensitization develops and seek appropriate therapy.
  •  Administer antifungal
    or antibacterial agents if an infection is present.
  •  Be cautious when
    treating extensive body surface areas or anticipating longterm use, especially
    in infants and children.
  •  Continuous use of
    topical Salicylic Acid should be avoided.

    dermatitis
