Clinical Pharmacology:

Mechanism of Action: Mometasone Furoate exhibits
anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic, and vasoconstrictive properties. Its precise
mechanism involves the induction of inhibitory proteins controlling the
biosynthesis of inflammatory mediators.

Indications and Usage:

Ointment: Medium-potency corticosteroids for relieving
inflammatory and pruritic manifestations in corticosteroid-responsive
dermatoses.

Contraindications:

Santomet Cream, Ointment, and Lotion are contraindicated in
individuals with a history of hypersensitivity to any components in the
preparation.

Dosage and Administration:

Ointment: Apply a thin film once or twice daily to affected
skin areas. Safe for pediatric patients 2 years and older. Discontinue when
control is achieved.
